The Name

• Névé, which means "A field of granular snow", is used as a metaphor for "A field of untethered network nodes".
• Lex, which means Law, is used as a stand-in for Protocol.
• Hence Nevelex is construed as "Protocols that govern next generation networks".

The Logo

• The guillemet (<< and >>) in the logo signifies the systematic use of UML in our design process.
• Shades of red in the logo indicate vitality.
• The lego-like construction of the logo, composed of only upright and inverted "V"s, "E"s, and one "L", indicates the use of design patterns and standards-compliant components in our technology.
